Hi Chas, I don't believe this. No way Trump could uphold such policy when the dollar is already starting to get into trouble. This is just more DNC Chicken Little stuff.
On top of that, I am finding it harder and harder to bring myself to vote for Kamala. The fine piece by Patrick Lawrence that you just sent out today on the phenomenon of the Kamala campaign hits the nail on the head in terms my Growing malaise. I am just not going to go down the "Lesser of two evils" road. The evil of Biden/Harris are well-known and very dangerous in bringing about the decline of America through its impossible immoral empire, probably 1 million dead, And nuclear flirtation. Trump at least does not represent necessarily clear cut "evil except in a cultural sense. I am also sick to death of the so-called liberals Elitism, suppression of freedom speech and the unabated application of lawfare or DNC diktats to make sure that guys like Bernie never make it even into the campaign. Now they have brought us Ching Chong Kamala , who is an empty suit if there ever was one.

Turns out to be a wonderful mediaeval Theological term for those who were hoping to accelerate the process of history in order to hasten the return of Jesus. That's not quite where I'm at, but I don't think dragging out these old, tired and dangerous "liberal" Nostrums are going to do the country any good. Indeed, it will only prolong the agony when this country needs a good swift kick in the ass wake up call, some stern medicine.. That will come faster with Trump, and it may not be all as bad as the Trump derangement syndrome- Liberals would have us believe. Particularly in foreign policy. Interesting how many Republicans now seem to be drifting away from never ending war and moving closer to what they perceive as the interest of the working class. A role reversal with the elitist democrats.
Did you note that Jeffrey Sachs in his long interview with Tucker Carlson virtually said right out that he preferred Trump when it came to the long-term welfare of the US in foreign policy. John Mearsheimer is there as well. I have a growing number of friends who consider themselves long time leftists, Including myself, who tell me they are likely to vote for Trump. I am myself pretty much now willing to go down that path for better or for worse. Giving the finger to the corrupt establishment is an idea not entirely without merit. Augean stables and all that--where you at least live..
